Week 6: Robotics Expo

Team 20 put the finishing touches on its robot, and rolled it out to the 4th annual Tech Valley Robotics Expo! The event took place at our practice field in RPI's tech park.




There, we met Teams 250, 1493, 1665, 2791, and 3044 for some practice before ship date.

Team 250 built a fast omni-directional robot this year.




Team 1493, with an octagonal tower robot, was also there.






After several hours of hard work, members of Team 3044 finally got their robot working.




Team 20's robot had trouble with an overheating motor on its elbow joint, but was able to lift logotubes after some repairs.



Not pictured: Team 1665, which left early, and Team 2791 (Shaker Robotics, no website), which came late.
