Welcome to Team 20!

Welcome to Team 20, a participant in the FIRST Robotics Competition! We are based in Shenendehowa High School ("Shen") in Clifton Park, New York. Team 20 was one of only 28 original FIRST teams in 1992, and we have competed every year since. Our team has enjoyed a history of success paralleled by few other teams in our 19-year history. This reflects our dedication to robotics, our hardworking students and mentors, and of course, our excitement and desire to win. However, in FIRST Robotics, winning is far from everything. Our ultimate purpose is to promote math, science, and engineering among high school students, and to that end, Team 20 has produced many science and engineering majors in colleges around the country.

Community Events!

Team 20 is attending a host of commmunity events in the preseason. Students: you need to participate in at least three community events to travel to Championships with the team. See which events are coming up on the events page.

First Meeting

The first general Team 20 meeting of the 2010 - 2011 season will be Thursday, September 30th, 2010, in room 137 of High School East. See you there!

Team 20 members are on the front page of the FIRST website! Two of our students, Eric Hexemer and Spencer Po, are currently featured on usfirst.org for the scholarships they recieved through FIRST.

YNN has a story on our 2010 Tech Valley Robotics Exhibition . The exhibition, now in its third year, is a friendly practice for local FRC teams before competition season.
