After six weeks of hard work, we have completed our robot to play the 2015 FRC game Recycle Rush! For those who may not have seen it yet, an explanation of this year’s game may be found here. Our reveal video for the robot can be found here.

Atlas will be competing at the Tech Valley Regional on March 20-21st in Troy, NY and the the Finger Lakes Regional on March 27-28th in Rochester, NY. We’re looking forward to seeing how Atlas performs and wish all teams good luck at their competitions!

The Karigon Science Series event was a great success! Despite having about 10 kids showing up, they had a blast driving the VEX bots and throwing balls to aid the 2012 and 2014 robots.

Reminder: The Albany Home Expo event in January 7 is cancelled due to the VEX competition happening on the same day.

Scoutapalooza will be hosted at Shenendehowa High School East in room 134. Student directors will be located around the school to help guide teams to the room. Scoutapalooza will be held from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Scoutapalooza is being held to train scouts for the upcoming regionals and national competition.  All teams are welcome!  If you cannot make it to Scoutapalooza we will be broadcasting it live. Team 250 is holding a Pancake Breakfast at Applebee’s in Latham on Sunday, January 19, 8:00-10:00AM. The donation per person is $6.00 for pancakes, bacon, orange juice and coffee.
